Thousands of jobseekers and employers attend the fest. This job fest program was started in 2018 and for better implementation and digitization of this program, government also developed an online portal with the help of NIC. - Niyukthi Job Fest initiative was started in 2018 by the Kerala Government.
- The main objective of organizing job fest is to provide job opportunities to the educated unemployed youth of the state.
- Job fests are conducted by the Employment Directorate of Kerala State.
- These job fests are generally conducted on yearly basis in all the districts of the state so as to cover all the jobseekers.

- The Jobseekers– The main element of this project is the jobseekers in the state of Kerala for whom government organises job fest so that they can get employment as per their qualification.
- The Employer- One who provide employment i.e. the employer company/ organisation is also an important stakeholder of this job fair plan. With the help of job fest, they get an opportunity to choose a suitable employee for their company.

Activities of Jobseeker
There are certain activities which each jobseeker has to complete if he/she is willing to participate in the job fest. These activities are listed below in chronological order. Check these activities below-
- Step-1 User Registration- The first and foremost activity is to register on the portal. Registration on portal will create jobseeker’s login Id by which they can access their account whenever required.
- Step-2 Job Fest Registration- Now, whenever the fest is organised, jobseekers have to register for job fest. For they have to furnish all the required details in the job fest registration form.
- Step-3 Selection of Job Fest Location- After successful registration for job fest, they also have to select location of the fest as per their convenience.
- Step-4 Print Call Letter- Before going to attend the job fest and respective interview, they must download and print their call letter.
- Step-5 Appear for Interview- The last activity is to appear in the interview personally as per the scheduled mentioned in the call letter. They have to carry this call letter with them at the interview on the scheduled date.
Jobseeker Registration
As we have mentioned above registration on online portal is compulsory, in this section we have shared the registration process in simple steps.It is a one-time process, which every job aspirant has to complete in order to attend the job fest.
Just have a look at the registration details-

- Click on “Jobseeker Registration” link given on homepage of the official website.
- Now, fill details to create login Id. These details include Name, date of birth, Mobile No., email, password, security questions and answers.
- Click on “Create” button.
- Registration process will be completed and login Id will be created. Keep the login details safe for further logins.
Activities of Employer
Just like jobseekers, there are certain activities which employers also have to complete. These are as follows-
- Step-1 Registration – Registration on poral is important for both job aspirants and employers are going to attend the job fest to access the portal.
- Step-2 Post Job Openings / Vacancies- As employers are the recruiters in the job fest, they have to post job vacancies on the portal after successful registration.
- Step-3 Publish/Unpublish Vacancies- The last activity is to publish/ unpublish the job-openings.
Employer Registration
- Open the official portal.
- Click on “Employer Registration” link.
- Registration form will open. Fill login details, Contact person details and Company details in the respective fields and click on Register button.
- Registration process will be completed and login details will be shown on the screen and will also be sent to the mobile no. and email.
User Login
Once both jobseeker and employer have created their account or login on the portal, they can check it anytime anywhere. The login process is as follows-
- Go to the official website.
- Click on “Registered User” link.
- Enter username and password created at the time of registration, Enter captcha code and click on Log in.
Documents Required at the Job Fest
On the day of the fest, jobseekers are required to carry following documents to the fest-
- A copy of call letter downloaded from the portal.
- Five copies of resumes
- A valid photo id proof
- Original copies of qualification certificates along with self attested photocopies of each.
